Health and Safety Provisions COVID 19

These provisions are to be introduced in addition to the very high standards of hygiene that Paul has always adhered to at the clinic and are to ensure the safety and health of all of his patients.

  • Extended times in between appointments of half an hour to allow for cleaning and sanitising preparations for the next patient.
  • Priority bookings for existing patients.
  • Patients can book appointments online and pay at the time of booking if they wish.
  • Health questionnaire emailed to the patient before their appointment.
  • Patients to fill out the new consent form with COVID-19 waiver.
  • Patients to come straight through to the treatment room with no requirement to wait in reception and no requirement to sign in. Patients can wait in their vehicle if they wish and we will text them when clear to come in.
  • Toilets on site will have appropriate hand gel and sanitising facilities and door handles will be sanitised regularly.
  • An area at the treatment room entrance to remove outside shoes and administer antibacterial hand gel, – no touch thermometer available if required.
  • HEPA Air purifier running during clinic hours.
  • Practitioner to wear a face mask during treatment and when appropriate, also to maintain appropriate distancing where applicable.
  • Disposable gloves to be worn by the practitioner where appropriate.
  • Practitioner to change the medical scrub top after every patient.
  • Hot water and hand soap available in the clinic room.
  • Disposable paper towels to be used at all times.
  • Paper couch roll to be used on the couch and changed after every patient (as always), no soft furnishings to be used, pillows to have a protective wipe down cover.
  • Any drinking glasses or cups to be disposable one time use only.
  • All areas including couch, chairs etc to be sanitised between every patient with antibacterial spray and wipes including door handle to the clinic etc. Windows opened and treatment room aired when appropriate.
  • Payments can be made by card using ‘no touch’ Apple pay or similar, if card machine is used anti-bacterial wipes are available to use on the machine after every use.
  • Cash payments are discouraged at the moment, payments can be made online or by bank transfer if appropriate.
