The first two cookies are used to distinguish users and expire wihin 2 years and 24 hours respectively. The third is used to throttle request rate and expire in 1 minute. The fourth is a session cookie used to send data to Google Analytics.

This session cookie remembers the user’s selected language version of twitter on areas of the site with twitter content. The second is a session cookie used when you click on the Twitter profile. The third is set due to Twitter integration and sharing capabilities and expires after 2 years. The guest_id appears on pages that use the button “Tweet” and serves to identify the user with a unique number associated with Twitter; it expires after 2 years.
